It’s been a busy week - school field trips and end of the year stuff at home and at work - Man, the phones, the emails, and ……. I am learning more about Ebay and Amazon and I can actually give you a pretty accurate quote from the Website now - USUALLY!!!!!!

We had a group of 9 that walked in the Race for the Cure on Saturday - WOW! That was quite an experience - When someone describes something to you like “a sea of pink” that is very accurate-it was  an amazing turnout for a worthy cause - Keep up the good work folks-your efforts are making a difference! We sported our “Industrial Pink Gear” Tool belts, hard hats, clear safety glasses, tinted safety glasses, safety vests, aprons,  ALL PINK - We fit right in! And we were the only ones in pink Hard Hats!

As a tribute I will make the “Product of the Week“  Pink Gear - anything you want - and we have purple too - it’s not just for the ladies - if you really want to get noticed on the jobsite - THIS WILL DO IT!!!!!! Real men wear pink and they wear it well.

Hope you all got your orders in for the Red hard hats, Pink tool belts, and Purple aprons we offer - it’s a great Valentine’s Day gift for all those who you love and want to keep safe - nothing like a unique gift instead of the same old, same old we see year after year…….Just a suggestion - but I would know! Valentine’s Day has come a long way from silk and lace hand delivered valentines to mass produced paper cards to everyone you know and maybe don’t love, so why can’t we advance this very special holiday one more step and make it about safety too?! Come on - get creative - don’t fall in with the programmed masses - get a hard hat or tool belt - it’s what you don’t expect to get that’s a treat!

Did you know that February is Workplace Eye Safety Month????? Could there be a more meaningful awareness subject - OK for me! This subject hits home for me - I had what I thought was a workplace eye injury back in 1997 - turned out to be genetic - THANKS DAD! But I began to wonder why this happened to me - well, I guess I easily could have worn safety glasses while I was using a very strong industrial cleaner - that being said - we have a ton of safety glasses - inexpensive, nice looking, and saves the eyeball worries - get them - I DID!!!! We all know it - but I’m going to say it again - YOU CAN NEVER BE TOO CAREFUL WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR EYES! If what you can do to save your eyesight is quick, easy, and cheap - why wouldn’t you do it?

Let’s talk stats - we started out the year with our website being so-so and by the end of January more than doubled the products you could get - WOW! That’s HUGE - but guess what??? Our goal for the end of March is to quadruple that! That’s a GREAT goal!  Check out this website - IT’S AWESOME! And obviously growing! If we can add this many products - imagine what you could find…….Talk more next week - WRITE ME!
